With a long record of successful projects (200+) across geographies like India, United States, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and Thailand and a new range of skills in my arsenal, I’m ready for my next UX adventure.

My Professional Principles

  • Strive for Long Term vision of the product or service.
  • Ensure responsiveness to business goals, user needs and technological advances.
  • Bridge the gap with tech to ensure designs are feasible and are implemented accurately.
  • Often best ideas are from people with non design background so keep an open mind.
  • At times everyone is figuring out the best way forward so be patient with iterations.
  • Make newer mistakes, be mindful of your old ones.

On a Personal Note

  • Movie Guru

I love movies and like to read and talk about them with friends. Please don't ask me for a favourite. That would be torture.

  • Fitness Buff

I am on a journey of personal transformation through the realm of fitness. I want to sculpt a stronger version of myself, setting my sights on running a marathon.

  • Born a Rebel

I am someone who always challenges the status quo. I have an unwavering determination and my rebellious spirit often can put me in awkward situations.

  • Firm Believer in Santa Claus

For me Santa is a problem solver due to his unique ability to deliver gifts (entering homes through chimneys). I look upto him for his sense of magic, thinking creatively and outside the box.

When I was in Hong Kong, I won the “People Choice Award” for a project to educate people about Term Insurance. An article was published on the intranet to educate other teams in the organisation about this event and our contribution.

This project holds a special place in my heart. The loss of my father in a tragic accident when I was just two years old, followed by my mother’s 14-year struggle with the insurance provider, deeply shaped my perspective. Despite my father having an accident insurance policy, the technical classification of his health as “suicide” due to the lack of coverage for suicides in his policy led to a prolonged legal battle.

Driven by this personal experience, I embarked on a mission to bring clarity to insurance complexities. This endeavor allowed me to connect with the local Chinese community, shedding light on the significance of Term insurance and demystifying the often convoluted terminology surrounding insurance products. I aimed to empower individuals with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions, ensuring that others wouldn’t have to navigate the same challenges my family faced.
